In fact, many people doubted it was even possible.

Here’s how I pulled it off.

It started when I cooked some pâté in my kitchen. Carnivores on Reddit kept saying that pâté was the best way to eat liver. (Since you can slather it in butter to mask the taste.)

My pâté wasn’t great. But it was edible. Enough to make me think, “Okay, maybe I can partner with a real food company to create a carnivore pâté that’s at least palatable.” A true daily staple, not a snack or something you’d spread on toast.

Big mistake.

I spoke with over 50 companies about creating pâté. Shared my vision for a good-tasting liver product for carnivores. But as much as I wanted it to work, pâté was not the way.

Unfortunately, U.S. Postal Service rates are expensive: $30 to $50, depending where you live. Far be it from us to tell another man (or woman) how much liver to eat. Quite frankly, you might find it tough to not wolf down the entire bag in one sitting.
